Is the cover I buy unique?

Yes. These book covers are my own design. Some images are even photographed by me. When a particular book cover is bought, it will not be sold to another author.

What format do you send the file?

JPEG file (for e-book covers).

What is the filesize?

1600 pixels wide by 2400 pixels high (for e-book covers).

Can I reserve a cover without paying?

Unfortunately, not.

Can I have less or more text on the cover?

Yes. The amount of text on the book covers are just samples. You can add a subtitle, a tagline or an endorsement on the cover if you want. It’s up to you.

I want to change the design, is that possible?

Partly. If you like the font of another book cover in bookcovers4u.com, give me the number of that cover and I will use that for your book cover. You can also change the font color to the color of your choice. Both changes will be made one time without additional charge.

For any other kind of changes, I charge € 30 per hour. I reserve the right to reject any change that I feel will violate my professional standard.

Can I have the open Photoshop file wich I can edit myself?

Unfortunately, not.

Can I just have the image and put the text on myself?

Again, unfortunately not.

Is it possible for you to do some changes on my design months after I approved it?

It is possible, with an extra fee of € 30 per hour.

Are the images licensed?

Yes, they all have Creative Commons Deed CC0 license. That means you can sell as many books as you want using the book covers you purchased from bookcovers4u.com.

Do I have to pay for the images on the covers?

No, it is included in the price.

Do you sell the cover more than once?

No, once you buy a book cover, it will not be sold to anyone else.

Why don’t you work with other print-on-demand services like Createspace?

I don’t work with POD (yet) because the various types of specifications will complicate the checkout flow. If you want to purchase a book cover for a POD service, please contact me directly at info@bookcovers4u.com.

Can I buy an ebook cover and submit that one on CreateSpace?

No, the resolution of an e-book cover will be too low to be used as a printed cover.
